Percussion Recruitment

North Cheshire Wind Orchestra is now recruiting members to its percussion section.  We have a percussion teacher/section leader from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in place and we are looking to recruit additional section members.

Theses vacancies would suit someone who has significant existing experience with either drums or piano or someone who has attained a high standard in another instrument and would like to increase their range of knowledge and skills. There is no tuition fee and band membership fees will be waived for the first year. The vacancies will be filled after auditions.

The orchestra has close links with the RNCM and is well renowned in the region. It has many professional and high standard amateur players and would provide an excellent opportunity for any student who excels within their own school/college orchestra/band and wants to extend their experience in order to progress their career.

The orchestra play to a high standard and with a professional attitude. We are planning to further our competitive results in the 2012-2013 season by moving from the Community to the Open BASBWE level. There is no restriction on age but it must be noted that the orchestra expects professionalism from all its members.

The orchestra rehearse on a Friday evening from 7.30pm until 9.45pm at Bridgewater High School (Lower School), Hall Drive, Warrington, WA4 5JL.
